"Master bed bedding was not clean (smelly) and we had to wash them. Cigars were left outside. Blankets by couch were dirty from outside stuff. Would help if the house had foil, saran wrap, and zip lock bags for food storage."

"Plenty of room for two couples to spread out. We loved the patio and fire pit. Quick walk to downtown. Safe area. The sitting room and fireplace was lovely for morning coffee. Loved to read about the history of this place. Street noise is a minor nuisance but a noise machine solved that at night. We would stay again. "

"The house has everything you need to be comfortable and is top-notch. Our favorite aspect was probably the location. Not only is it close to all the stores you need,it is also a walker's paradise. "The house was absolutely perfect for us. Cute cozy and comfy all the important C's. There was a bit of dog hair that I wasn't expecting but nothing major... She thought of so many essentials in case we forgot something. The location was amazing!! We walked to downtown Hillsboro and it was close to so many other restaurants and things to do. "

"Ruth's Cottage is as advertised - a charming farmhouse which has plenty of vintage touches AND is comfortable, cozy, and with all the amenities one needs. And its location can't be beat - just a short walk to downtown Carlton, an easy drive to McMinnville, and convenient access to everything that Willamette Valley wine country has to offer. I can't wait to return to Ruth's Cottage!"

"This was a gathering of grandparents, parents, two young grandchildren, and a little dog. The house accommodated all of us. Location was great for walking downtown, and checking out various holiday events. A positive experience for all involved."
