Lovely view and hot tub. Shade curtains you could see through were nice. Specious living room and kitchen space. Carpets were a bit grungy though cleaned before our arrival. Bit of mildew in grout in shower. Hit my leg twice on the sharp bed postposts.

Great dog friendly home
This house is great if you are traveling with your fur babies. The patio is enclosed and perfect for sunny days at the coast. Great view, right on the beach but no beach access from the house. The house is a little dated but very comfortable. Would stay there again. With a few updates I would give an overall rating of 5 stars!

Views were nice, hot tub felt wonderful. Was nice having an enclosed patio area for the dogs. Only suggestion would be to tear carpeting out and put in engineered wood flooring. Would make the house feel alot cleaner

Overall, the house was fine and we had a very nice time. Stocked fairly well, the location and beach access were great. It was clean, as much as it could be for ant outdated interior, and the beds were very comfy.That being said there is a lot of room for improvement for this property. Walking into the house it had a VERY musty, odor. I'm assuming lots of wet dogs have been here, as that is how it smelled. Carpet and sandy/wet dogs do not compliment each other well. The interior could use some updating. The TV in the living room was a constant issue. Worked occasionally after lots of futzing. Which, reading the guest book, has been an ongoing issue. That apparently has not been addressed properly. The shower in the main bathroom did not work. Again reading the guest book, has been a past issue. The info book, about the house, is not up-to-date and some phone numbers do not work. Super frustrating after spending way to long trying to attempting to get the TV to work. Not much good to say about the up-keep, or lack there of, of the outside. It is in pretty sad shape! It is quite obvious that there has been no attention given to the exterior for some time. It really could be beautiful if someone actually worked on it a little. Seems pretty obvious that this house is a cash-cow for a company, could really use some TLC from someone who cared. When contacting the company they were quick to respond. Which we appreciated. Location & great views saved this place.

to many broken things
1) We rented the place because of the hot tub. We couldn't use it because the water was green and cloudy. Called maintenance, they said they would call housekeeping, no one came. (I feel I deserve a partial refund for the dirty hot tub) 2) the outside lights did not work, called maintenance, left a message. They left me a message. I called back and left a message with them that we were out for the day so feel free to come in the house and fix the outside lights, never came. 3 there is a real strong musty smell in the house. I left my bedroom window open at night, but the smell was still there. The toilet seat is broken in the master bedroom. There are several broken cupboard doors in the kitchen. The wall in the small bedroom by the baseboard needs repair. kitchen table and chairs are sticky. The carpet was gross. The refrigerator freezer has a frozen water fall on its door. I did tell them that they could fix it after we left but I still had to put a fresh towel every morning to replace the one that was soaking wet. I notice a puddle in front of the fridge when we moved in. I did like the location and the fenced in patio. It was an easy access to the beach. But the positives do not outweigh the negatives, I would not rent this home again.

Property wasn't clean, several pee spots on carpet, it looked like someone used cleaner but you could see the spots perfectly, smelled terrible very overpowering, fifthly table very sticky, dirty outside, cig butts in burn pit, dirty smudges on bedspreads, trash left in hall bath, ice maker didn't work, nor did hall bath ran constantly.

Great place to stay while family loved it. We did have trouble with the key pad and getting in. Luckily we got in. We tried to call the property management number, but it was hard to get bars and keep signal. Everything else was amazing!

This property was lovely. The ocean view was great to see everyday. I wish we could have gotten down to the water but the rocks were to slick. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was delightful and the fire was great. I will stay again.

Pleasant stay
Enjoyed the stay at the house. Jacuzzi was awesome. There is newer furniture in the living area that is not shown on the pictures. House was larger than expected. The garage was nice to tuck the car away from all the rain. Like other reviews there was a musty smell in parts of the house but just open the windows. Overall I would return.

Lovely Relaxing Home
We had a wonderful relaxing vacation at Sparkling Sands VRBO. The house seems to have all manner of kitchen items (including coffee filters), well stocked bathroom towels, washer & dryer, sand toys, etc. There are several personal touches that make the house feel like home. The binoculars are nice personal touch, the fireplace cozy, and the beds and couches comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and the quick walk to the sandy beach. The house is also a good launching point to visit several nearby areas such as Cape Perpetua, Yaquina Head Natural Outstanding Area, Sea Lion Caves, the Oregon Dunes, etc. The only two negative takeaways from our vacation were 1. we couldn't make the ice maker work, and 2. after watching a DVD we couldn't make the cable TV work. Otherwise, the house is perfect for a family and we absolutely would book again.

Excellent location but needs deep clean
We loved the proximity to the beach and being able to bring our dog. The hot tub was also very nice. The home needs a deep clean. The furniture and decorations were dusty, walls were dirty and stains on the tall chairs. The grill was also rusty and unusable which was a bummer.

Amazing view
This was one of the best stocked kitchens that We’ve found- there was a griddle, blender and waffle maker in addition to your typical pots and pans. There were also sand toys and beach chairs. I had trouble contacting Vacasa Oregon who managed the listing when I had questions prior to arrival (they didn’t respond to my question sent through VRBO). The location was amazing and perfect for young kids and a dog. The (very) short walk to the beach at the end of the property was a bit slippery in the rain- if I had elderly people in my party, I would have been a bit worried. We will definitely try to stay here again.
