Our room was facing the highway and the traffic noise was horrible. The evening check-in person charged us an extra $10 for a non-smoking room and we don't smoke. Fortunately, the check-out person the next morning was understanding and returned our $10 stating that we should not have been charged.

Everything was clean and neat. I felt sorry for the front desk employee on duty when I checked in. A guest was yelling at her about which room he was assigned. She was very patient and willing to help him. He was unreasonable in how he treated her.

Due to the hurricane we were unable to cancel or make our reservation. We lost cell phone service, internet, and our road was blocked by down trees. Additionally, all major highways leading out of area were inaccessible. Expedia and the hotel will not offer us a refund or a voucher for future travel. Shame on both Expedia and the hotel for not doing better.

check in an experience I will remember for some time. Lady was difficult to communicate with. was to issue a credit and to see her at check out.. Guess what, she was not there at check out and the new lady did not understand. So, I will refuse to pay that part of the bill when I spoke with her. Dog poop in room and electric not working in bath area. Overall, a bad experience and will remember this next week.
