"Loved the area!"

"We had a 3-day stay at the Capri for a quick summer beach trip. We stayed in a pool view room. This hotel reminds me of a seaside European hotel. It’s not luxe and yet so relaxing and beautiful. The room we stayed in was pretty basic but it was very clean and housekeeping came by daily to sweep and tidy the room. It had a portable AC which worked very well and doubled as white noise, which helped with the construction next door. The location is perfection! An easy 15-20 minute walk to Main Beach/downtown Laguna or you can just hop on the free Laguna Beach Trolley which stops right outside the hotel. There are plenty of places to shop and eat within a couple of blocks of the Capri as well, in case you like staying on the quieter side of town. During the summer months there’s a small beach area right outside the hotel and they will set up chairs and umbrellas for you. The staff is very helpful and friendly as are the other guests. There are several communal areas (decks and terraces) to sit and enjoy the spectacular view. The hotel offers free parking and a decent continental breakfast which we enjoyed on our last morning. The only negative, which is temporary, is the construction going on at the hotel next door. If you enjoy sleeping in, you may want to ask for a room on the other side of the property."

We were locked in our room the first night so the worker had to come through a window to break the lock off of our door and upgraded us to a suite which was such an amazing offer. We were there to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and the staff made sure to not disappoint! "
