My husband and I stayed in the Piedmont Suite. It was a really nice room. It was very large with a sitting area. The architecture of this historical home is beautiful. The restaurant is nice with wonderful gourmet food. The staff are nice and very accommodating. The location is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

We lived staying at the Shaffer Inn ! Everyone was super friendly including Randall, Alyssa and Molly. The Wachovia room was enormous and well decorated, included a very nice bathroom with all the amenities you could ask for. Oh and the breakfast was fantastic !

We loved our stay! The staff was wonderful, the bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. Included a delicious breakfast with the best biscuits I have ever eaten. This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful inn! Again, our expectations were met! The room, The Falls, was beautiful and spacious! Jada, welcomed us with a beautiful smile and made sure we had everything! My hat off to the chief for a delicious breakfast every morning! The servers were great! Alyssa and Molly will take care of you at breakfast and any other time! Mr. Baldwin, who greeted us every morning at breakfast wanted to know how our stay was going! Thanks you for a wonderful stay!
