« Overall, we were pleased with the property and our stay. Absolutely use the pin in the email from the owner or you will never reach the property. Kitchen is not fully stocked. Coffee mugs, yes. Drinking glasses consisted of 3 plastic glasses. One 6" skillet and no baking sheets. Heat vents, cold air return, and floors were dirty. Bugs an inch deep in light fixture over table. No firewood. BUT......beautiful home and property. Very quiet. Peaceful. »

« This is a perfect spot for a fishing getaway! Johnny and Denise are wonderful hosts, but not as wonderful as George the cat, who is friendly as can be and knows more about fishing than I do. This room was the best possible combination of hotel/independent vacation rental. It was cleaner than many hotel rooms I've been in and includes a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. « The house had a homey feel, and we really enjoyed the lakefront property. The highlights for us were the screen porch and the fishing (kids caught bass and crappie every day). The kitchen is small but was still sufficient for our family; however, the stovetop burners didn’t heat very well and the pots/pans were subpar. Overall, we had a good trip and enjoyed our stay; the only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because it wasn’t as clean as we expected (dog hair and dust on the wood floors). »

« Nice little house and very clean but location shown on the map shows it back away from U hwy. and actually is located next to road. Property manager was great to work with and communication was excellent. Other than the location of the house/cabin being different than where the map shows it we all had a great stay. Very close to the Bucksaw Marina so was perfect for our weekend fishing trip. »
