Gourmet Kitchen
This kitchen has everything you need and is positioned right in the heart of the home. It faces the large deck with a wall of windows, so even when you’re on kitchen duty, you can still enjoy the view.

Parking
There is parking space for up to 3 vehicles in the front driveway for your use. If you do require additional parking, you will have the option to park on the street.

The Legacy Cabin is part of a coveted mountain community called Baltac. Many of the properties are owned by Albertans, and the community name was derived as “a little bit of Alberta (Alta) within BC”. Here you’ll be tucked away amongst The Purcell Mountains, with views of The Rocky Mountains, all while being lakeside to beautiful Lake Windermere. People travel here year-round from all over the globe to enjoy our lake and mountain activities as well as to explore our whimsical little town of Invermere. This town has a way of making people never want to leave with its welcoming spirit, friendly locals and delicious restaurants, cafes and interesting boutiques. There’s always something to do - even if it’s just having a pint with a friend. Life is simpler here, and we know you’re going to love it.

Lake Windermere: Just steps away from your door, you’ll find private access to our exclusive ¼ mile of sandy beach located along Lake Windermere’s eastern shoreline. Here you’ll find:

Radium Hot Springs (16.6km): In just over 10 minutes, you can be at Radium’s famous natural hot springs, where you can experience soaking in a blend of scentless minerals that’ll leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. This excursion is something you definitely have to have on your vacation itinerary.
The Whiteway (7.8 km): A 30km multi-use trail groomed for cross-country skiing and skating. It was granted the world record as the longest-maintained skating trail by the Guinness Book of World Records. You can find an access point at Kinsmen Beach and Windermere Beach.
Golfing: Copper Point Golf Club is only a 4-minute drive from The Legacy Cabin. You’ll also be close to Greywolf Golf Course, a world-renowned course ranked among the top 15 best courses in Canada and perfectly positioned against the backdrop of the Purcell mountains. Also close by are Windermere Valley Golf Course, The Ridge at Copper Point & Eagle Ranch Golf Course.
Panorama Ski Resort (25.4 km): A world-class ski destination that the whole family can enjoy with incredible skiing and snowboarding, heliskiing, skating, shops, bars for after-ski, and so much more.
