"We had a great stay! The house was cozy but room enough for 18 of us. The hosts even had a Christmas tree up. My 9 grandkids enjoyed the game room and we were able to prepare our early Christmas dinner and all eat around the ample table. The only downside was that the front porch was icy (it was very cold and had just snowed) and my son did take a fall but once we salted (salt bucket was available) the cement wasn’t too bad. "We booked this property while visiting a prospective college for one of our daughters and to visit my in-laws, who live nearby. My 76 y/o mother accompanied us. Everyone had a lovely, relaxing time. The owner was very responsive to the few questions I had. I would caution that there are a lot of narrow steps for older folks to navigate and the stairs from basement to the main floor did not have a railing the entire way. Other than that, I have no real critiques.We would definitely stay here...

"The house is beautiful. The rooms are large. It is ideal if you are looking for a quiet place. There are many deer walking between the houses. Your children will love the game room. What is missing are some things in the kitchen (it does not have trays to cook in the oven, trays to serve meals, not enough bowls to make salads, and no jars to boil water, etc.) I hope they add these things because It is very essential for cooking various things for multiple people."
