"We enjoyed our stay in the glamping tents. Staying here was an experience in itself. We were able to grill out, make s’mores over a camp fire, enjoy the playground, and a walk to the lake. The bath house was always clean and stocked with all the necessities…body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and towels. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The only thing I’d suggest to be aware of is the fact that it’s not quiet…a near by helicopter pad, train, and highway traffic made...

"I am so thankful that I found My Happy Place when searching for a place for my mom and I to stay. We both so appreciated Sherry's hospitality and loved her creative decorating. Pleasant, spacious and carefully tended, this cottage is tucked amid quiet, rolling green hills. The privacy and peaceful countryside was such a blessing. Being close to the Ark was ideal."

"We came from the Columbus Ohio area and were looking forward to a relaxing weekend to see some sights. It was awesome. Everything was super clean. Location was great for what we were doing.Oddly enough, the only thing we would have complained about is that there were no dish rags to do dishes with and there was not enough silverware. We made do. It was not worth a bad review. Would definitely book with them again."

"The house was even better than the pictures! The game room area was perfect for our family, even though it was in the 20-30’s outside they had overhead heaters to warm ya up! The bunk-beds were a huge hit for the kids. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need and then some! They had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms - which was a great surprise!!We will definitely stay here again when we come visit family. "
