"This is a single-story building, yet we constantly heard footsteps running back and forth at night and in the morning, as if there were an upstairs unit. We couldn’t determine where the noise was coming from, which was quite disruptive. On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located right off Highway 395, with a gas station at the entrance and restaurants just a 5-minute walk away."

Price is high for the room but that is to be expected when staying in a NP and being surrounded by all the natural beauty. All the staff we met were very nice and helpful. Only hiccup was dealing with the lock box which I found very challenging and was grateful that one of our party was savvy about various steps and after several attempts able to maneuver it to open. "

Bathroom has every amenity one may need; hair dryer, nice towels, great shower, shower gel, etc. Great old bedroom; living room furniture rather sparse, could use a table lamp and cozy reading chair. Other than that issue, very enjoyable stay. "
