Great spot for large groups
I've stayed in probably about ten large (~10 guests) rentals at Whistler over the last decade. This was probably the best rental I'd stayed out, and I'd very much be interested in renting it again. The check in/out was good. The only issue was that we paid a deposit first and then did not get any further notification or reminder of the full payment due date until we got a mildly threatening email when it was overdue. Some friendly reminders would be very nice. The place is large and very comfortable, and it easily and comfortably fits groups of 8 skiers. There are additional beds, but things get a little tighter after that with the dinner table, the ski racks, the boot dryers, the hot tub, and so on. We had 10, though, and it was fine. The place is not really ski-in/ski-out since there is a short walk of about 100 steps to the slope, and it's only accessible coming down from Whistler Mountain, so there will be an extra lift at the end if you are coming from Blackcomb. The walk to the village is also a bit long and uphill so a car would be good.

Family ski holiday
We are a family of 6 who love to ski and the house was great for our stay. The ski in / out is an effort (as described) so we hired a car which was much easier. Note that an SUV is a TIGHT squeeze in the garage. Short drive to everything you need though. Lots of space for everyone to chill and watch tv when not out and about, however limited space for clothes to be unpacked in bedrooms (eg master bedroom had hanging space with a few hangers but inadequate drawers for a couple to put away clothes for 11 days). We lived out of the suitcases which was a pain. Great kitchen, well equipped, we cooked everyday, just need storage containers for leftovers as there was none. The only real issue we had was with the heating. No instructions, seemed to revert back to 18 degrees often and then sometimes you would wake in the night sweating and then be freezing an hour later. You are unable to change the heating beyond a certain temperature without a PIN and when the arctic blast came through and there were consecutive days of -20 and worse, we were cold in the house.

November Girls Weekend
The space was very comfortable for our party of 8. We had a lovely time relaxing just at the house itself. The only comment I have is that there wasn't enough cutlery, and the pots and pans were not good enough to cook for eight people. We still had a lovey stay.

Location is great! 3 minute bike ride downhill to the Whistler Village. It’s a bit of a climb on the way back after a long day of riding. Communication with manager was prompt and easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!
Beautiful home with more than enough beds to sleep a lot of people. Good location near the village. Easy walk in (maybe 10-12 minutes) and good workout coming home back up the hill! Property manager easy to communicate with. Would stay again!

Opening weekend for down hill.
Everything was awesome. Truly. We had a blast. Only feedback I can think of is the address that was given to me for check-in was the house’s adress which was not where the real check-in was. That was a separate address at a completely different location. Just would have been smoother if the Deer Lodge address was readily available.

Great property
Wonderful property, very clean and spacious and perfect for our group of 8. The only downside is the distance to the slopes. We read the reviews and knew that we had to walk up 100+ steps to get to the run, however, there is also a short uphill walk to get the stairs and another short uphill walk to the ski run after the stairs. All in all, if you are a skier carrying skis and poles, it will take 20 minutes and you will be sweating. The snowboarders in our group had it easier. Hot tub stayed hot and we really enjoyed it. Lots of towels to use.

Stay at Whistler Village
Very simple check-in process (off-site, not at the place of residence). and place is exactly as advertised. About a 8-10 min walk into the village but the walk back to the place may be tough as its on a hill. Place is great, very clean and has everything you need.

We used this place for a mountain biking trip and it was perfect with how many people we had. The garage was great although it does not fit pickups. You can ride downhill to the bike park but the hill up was not ideal.

2 night family reunion
It was the perfect property for our family reunion with a nice location that's a short walk to the village, and with the common area, fireplace, hot tub. We were 6 adults, but it is more suitable for two families as there are many rooms and beds. Other places for rent seem to have a pantry of many food items from the description, but this one barely has anything. We brought our own food and spices. Overall, it was a great place to stay in.

Clean and great space
Overall a pleasant experience. Was scared of booking this unit since the rating was so low, but A/C was never an issue since we were visiting during winter, and central heating (and the fireplace) worked without an issue. Stayed here with a group of 10 for a week of skiing. Facilities were clean, all the appliances worked flawlessly. A part of the hot tub lid was broken (metal rod was snapped off clean) and the garage door PIN pad didn't work so we had to open it from the inside every time but those were minor inconveniences and didn't really affect our stay much. Would note that the "ski-in" stairs and walk is deceptively rough since it has ~120 stairs and a ~5 minute trek in ungroomed snow, but it beats having to bring a car and park at the village lot every day and pay for parking. Kitchen is lacking in terms of any spices/sauces and supply closet only had a few rolls of 1-ply toilet paper and paper towels but once again those were minor issues which we could replenish ourselves. WiFi was sometimes annoying since it was unreliable. Would often cut out but when it did work, it worked great. No issues streaming movies or doing work other than the WiFi cutting out for a few minutes every 1-2 hours. The house and neighborhood is great, clean, and quiet.

Great potential but poor management
The physical property was great, the location was superb but the host and the management was poor at best. Upon check in (in a the village) we were told we need a exuberant deposit which we were not informed until we arrived. This made things quite awkward to start. Upon arrival to the townhouse we could tell everything was clean but the place was ridden with bugs ie: spiders, beetles and mosquitos. Between the group I believe we were bitten over 100 times. We went to Whistler for a mini-vacation away from home for easy access to the lakes to beat the heat. The townhouse is outfitted with a digital thermostat to which you need a passcode to operate. We inquired to the host for the code but were told AC was not part of the deal and we would have to fend for ourselves in a 30+ celsius townhouse with a newborn. This right here is the nail in the coffin. It's quite obvious the management team does not care about the guests that stay here and it shows. We will never come back to this "Luxury" bug infested suana. I hope they figure it out because it does have so much potential. Regards, Simon Beglau
