It was very clean, there was plenty of hot water, water pressure was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. We also really liked the peacefulness and location of the property. After almost three weeks of a four week Washington trip we wanted to eat in so we shopped at the local grocer, Star, ,just two blocks away and prepared two simple meals in the kitchen."

"I selected this place because it looked great and the price was right, with a location close to the beach. What they don't say is there's a fee that gets added and it's nearly the cost of a full day of stay, so take that into consideration before choosing. Plus, the checkout time is 10am, which is unheard of. You'll get charged another hefty fee for late checkout. " Visiting Whidbey Island for the first time for the Shakespeare plays and family get-together. Spent a lovely 3 nights at the Boatyard Inn. Everything was perfect! Loved sitting on the deck, watching seals and herons and listening to the calming sounds of little waves and gulls. Great location to walk to shops and restaurants. Hope to be back some day!"
