About this property

Riverfront Dome Escape w/ Sauna

Welcome to our unique dome, nestled in nature on our family’s property. During your stay, you may spot our two friendly huskies and one curious cat roaming the outdoor premises.

The dome is thoughtfully positioned for privacy, facing away from our home. While there is no kitchen, we provide a camp stove with fuel, a pot and pan for outdoor cooking, and a refrigerator for food storage. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea with our Nespresso machine (pods included) or use the hot water maker. Filtered drinking water is provided through a Berkey water filter.

This is an uninsulated dome, perfect for a true 'glamping' experience. For cooler nights, you'll stay cozy with a wood-burning stove and a king-size bed equipped with a heated mattress topper, offering dual controls for each side. During the summer months, please note that the dome can get hot, but we provide two fans to help keep you cool.

The bathroom is located just outside the dome. This outdoor bathroom features a heated bidet, a flushing toilet, a rain shower, and plush towels—including sauna towels for your comfort.

We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible, but keep in mind that this is an immersive glamping experience. At times, you may hear nearby trains honk at a crossing across the river. We provide earplugs for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Cool dome.
This place is very cool, but you are in a plastic bubble with no privacy. And it's has no sound deadening. Was hot ass hell during the day cold ass hell during the night. Beautiful sky once lights of the yard turned off. Out doors shower and toilet were awesome sauna was awesome also.

Wonderful getaway
We stay in a lot of vacation rentals. This was by far one of our very favorite spots! What a special place. The pictures are accurate, but the feeling of being right on the river, with comfy chairs, candles, wine in a very private and beautiful setting is indescribable. The outdoor shower with lovely soap and shampoo, the heated toilet seat (!), the French press coffee, little refrigerator, even a propane stove is available if you want to cook! My advice is to bring food to eat there because you’re not going to want to leave! Good hiking nearby, too!
