"The bar and dining areas were cold. My room was warm and comfortable. Dining was very good. Charging for parking in their own car park was not good. My bathroom needs to be modernised with a better shower"

"Stayed there for 1 night as it was a last minute booking and im glad I did. Service is 10/10. Michael and Annie treated us very well. Breakfast was lovely, bed was comfortable with nice views. Highly recommend staying there. "

"The hotel is in a quiet rural area out of town. It would be beneficial if you have a car, but there is a good bus service and the bus stop is across the road from the hotel. When we were there the hotel was being renovated but we never found this a problem and everyone was very helpful, lovely staff."

"Very traditional 500 year old Tudor house. It’s beautiful. Has its quirks - sloping squeaky floors, uneven walls, nooks & crannies & so much history! The landlady is a fabulous baker, serving up all homemade mince pies, millionaires shortbread & a homemade bread as part of breakfast! She even makes her own jams & chutneys - I bought 2 to bring home. It’s like staying in a home from home. It’s warm, welcoming, cosy & so homely. "Hotel is in a beautiful area and location. It has a lovely pool which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use as we were spending time with family living locally. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite. It was very spacious and really nice but needs a little TLC in the bathroom with a jacuzzi and the curtain hooks need attention. All things that can be easily addressed. We had dinner on one evening and it was delicious and well presented. Breakfast was okay but do not like having to order...
