Everything was about average. Their breakfast was the major downfall... Eggo waffles?

Dated and not maintained
This hotel was very dated and not maintained. Electric outlets not working. Hot water was luke warm. Parking was limited and inconvienent. Most of the light bulbs did not work and I was in the dark. Front desk looked annoyed when I asked for bulbs in which took them over an hour to bring

Pleasant hotel
We stayed at this hotel for 1 night, we enjoyed the stay very much, it was perfect location for us because our destination was the park and it was just 15 mints.

Expensive to stay in tourist locations
Chose this motel based on ratings and overall availability and room charges in west Yellowstone. This is a basic motel with no frills in the rooms and prepackaged food for the continental breakfast. At $160 a night one expects at least one frill or two and the extra drive in and out of town was another negative Not bad but underwhelming

Comfortable setting, good service
This hotel feels new and fresh. Very pleasant and personable front desk attendant. For tourists visiting West Yellowstone, know that the hotel is about 7 miles out of town, so a stroll down mainstreet to see the shops and attractions does require a drive into town. If that's not a concern, the hotel features a decent general store and pizza restaurant adjacent to the rooms. Beautiful scenic, setting, right outside the entrance to Yellowstone National Park

Super 8 West Yellowstone MT
Our stay at the Super 8 W. Yellowstone MT. was comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. However the location is far out of town. (approx. 7 miles west). The motel and property are well kept.

Not bad.
Good. Staff are friendly. Space is a little bit too tight for an additional bed.

Wonderful location, wonderful view, great folks!
I only chose this hotel because of no availability in West Yellowstone. What a wonderful surprise! Met by the general manager, who was great! Fresh backed cookies, great outdoor eating area, good room, clean and nice. Continental breakfast was as nice as any. The pizzeria/general store next door was some of the best pizza I've had. This is the kind of hotel that could change my opinion of Super 8. We WILL be back!

Should have stayed in the park
When you look up the definition of "meh" they have this hotel as an example. I suppose there are worse places and you are supporting a town that is basically open for about 6 months out of the year, but if you have the time to plan out your stay, then just stay in one of the lodges in the park and you will spend about the same amount in amount of money.

Meh
The rooms were small and expensive. The breakfast was lame compared to some of the other Super 8s we stayed at on our trip.

Good choice for visitors of Yellowstone
Good location. 20 minutes drive to west entrance of yellowstone national park. Staff are nice. The breakfast area is a little bit small and it is crowded in the morning.

We were here so that we would be near Yellowstone.
This hotel sits in a beautiful location with Yellowstone Park only eight miles away but you can see Yellowstone in the distance. The guy that works here is one of the nicest hotel employees or owners we had ever met. They had coffee any time they even thought you might want it and cookies for the guest every night. West Yellowstone is nearby for plenty of options to eat. Great place to stay. Thanks!

Hotel Stay
Hotel was located out of town. It was way overpriced for what it was. Was not convient to walk to anything. Was fully booked also, just not a lot of choices in this area.

Retreat from Yellowstone
We were surprised to find such a lovely retreat 7 miles from West Yellowstone. Lovely building, excellent staff, quiet location. Be prepared to dine in town or at minimal service place next door. Views of pastures are wonderful.

Okay hotel 7 miles from the town West Yellowstone.
This is an okay hotel. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. It was out of town but still acceptable to our needs. By booking this room online we got a discount but forfeited the cancellation policy. Booking directly the rate was higher but we had the chance to change/cancel without penalty. Travelers need to decide which option they would prefer.

IF you stay here, bring ear plugs, OFF, and ...
The location of the hotel is not near the Yellowstone West Entrance. It is about 10-12 minutes from the "strip" of West Yellowstone and about 15-17 minutes from the entrance of Yellowstone. The exterior of the hotel looked newly renovated and the views of the mountains were nice, but that was misleading. The room we stayed in was small with outdated furnishings and decorations. I felt this Super 8 must have been given the "hand-me-downs" from some other hotel. We could hear other guests turning on and off their showers, talking, using their hair dryers, and walking up and down the hall ... hence the need for ear plugs. The views of the mountains were great, but the mosquitoes were terrible, therefore, bring OFF if you plan on enjoying the views outside. The continental breakfast was simply frozen waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, and prepackaged cinnamon rolls. The second morning we ate at McDonald's. We stayed 2 nights the first of June, and we were ready to leave. I would NOT recommend this hotel!!!

Cheap and clean
Not too far from West Yellowstone and definitely cheaper than most places in that city. The room was very clean and was more like a traditional hotel with doors that opened into a hallway inside the building rather than having outside doors.

okkay but check the map and fine print of your boo
pays to read the fine print. you use your australian credit card for the fee, then find when you get there there is additional tax to pay. this hotel is miles out of the town and there is no evening meal available or an 8 mile drive.

Ok, but not super.
Location is not ideal since it is 7 miles out of West Yellowstone. Breakfast serving is stopped too early for late risers.

Best Super 8 I've ever stayed in.
Helpful, friendly staff. Our room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Love the lobby... more of a comfortable living room with elk, moose, wolverine and buffalo mounted on the walls. We were so glad that we stayed here rather than in West Yellowstone proper because the views here were gorgeous. We would have looked out our window at the next motel if we'd stayed in town. Absolutely worth the drive.

Stepping stone to Yellowstone
The breakfast was good but not enough tables and chairs. The room was fine but the beds are hard. The staff was very nice and helpful.
