Great house for friends
This house was perfect for my group of four friends on a hiking trip. The house had everything we needed to cook and grill, and plenty of towels and blankets. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do on our trip and the hot tub was a great bonus.

An amaizing stay
This is the second time in three years that we stay at this property and we could not be happier: great location, great entertainment for children and adults, wonderful amenities, and gorgeous weather in the 80s. Great Location
We really enjoyed the property. The property is big with 2 streams running through it. The game room was a huge hit with the kids. We love the hot tube. The location is ideal since it is close to several ski slopes. The owner is easily reachable. Highly recommend.

Exceeded expectations
The weather went from the teens to 60s depending on the day and some rain but the property had everything you needed. Game room for the rainy days and hot tub and walking around the woods with your dogs when it was nice out.. How can you go wrong. Really nice place to stay.

Spring break retreat
Rick’s house is a great find for families with kids (and dogs!) Our kids enjoyed having their own rooms with TVs, and the many games downstairs kept everyone entertained. It was so peaceful to walk out the back by the stream. We would love to return and enjoy the new hot tub once it’s installed. For nearby food we’d recommend Woodstock Brewing, excellent food and beers.

Relaxing stay
Had a wonderful time. House was clean and well-kept, with a nicely stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Outdoor grounds are lovely and private. Our family (including our dog) loved the streams! Fast and reliable WiFi, even with multiple devices connected, but no cell service (AT&T). Each bedroom had large TV with all the channels you could want. Hope to visit again!

Perfect Getaway
A few of us friends just wanted a quick getaway to recharge and we found it. The house was perfect for chilling and playing games. Our pups LOVED it as well... It was not far from Hunter so we went tubing and had dinner there one night... the rest of the time we played games, relaxed, went hiking (saw bear tracks) - jus thad the greatest time. Thanks so much to Rick! We'll be back!

Out of the way but nice stay
This house is not super close to Hunter or Windham… 25-30 min away so take that into account. It’s also out in the middle of nowhere with no cell signal. WiFi was totally needed. Owner is super nice and very attentive. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have lofts for single beds that are super high up and cramped … not for an adult. No firewood supplied by owner was a bummer. Pain in the neck to bring yourself or buy a few pieces for $10 at a store. Seems easy to supply wood with house. Very nice hot tub. Nice open common area for all to hang out. Cool hangout in basement with games and ping pong.

Wonderful experience, relaxing getaway.
Our group of 6 adults and one dog absolutely loved staying at this house. The location was exactly what we were looking for; a secluded getaway to relax with friends. The woods surrounded the home are beautiful and allowed us to have some fun in the snow and let our dog play. The house was very clean with all the amenities we’d need. We cooked in the kitchen, played in the game room, relaxed in the living room and spent some time in the hot tub. The owner, Rick, was very helpful and set us up for a smooth check in and stay processes. He was also incredibly accommodating with requests we had. I absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a beautiful location in the Catskills. There are lots of hikes nearby.

We had a great time!!
This house is a lot of fun! It is also perfect to relax by the fire, or in the hot tub on the deck. It was complete with everything you need to cook (lots of utensils, pots, and even leftover sugar, spices, etc). It even had washer/dryer and leftover laundry detergent. There are 3 double rooms, and in 2 of them there is a little mezzanine with twin beds. It is pretty high up and not the most secure railing but it would fit kids over 10 years old or adults. The game room is definitely the best thing there is! We had loads of fun. The house was clean and it is located about 25 minutes from Hunter ski resort so pretty convenient. Just one hick-up we had was the shower upstairs was not working, but I'm sure Rick will fix that easily. We will definitely be back there again!

Nice house that needs finishing. Bring your own towels and frying pans. Maximum 6 people.
We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO house. Private location and big yard. Great deck to use. Open kitchen, dining and living room to easily visit in. Bedrooms comfortable except the twin beds. That said, a number of things should be corrected in the advertising: 1) We contracted for space for 10 and the house sleeps 6 comfortably. The twin beds that were advertised as part of the bedrooms are up a ladder in a loft that only a small agile person might climb into. These beds were unmade and linens were unavailable. We had counted on these beds but they were unusable. Fortunately, we brought inflatable mattresses which we had to use. The sofa bed was saggy and needed a vacuuming. It was not made but we found sheets in a basket on the dryer. We washed them and put the mattress on the floor. Also, we noticed that there were 8 well worn towels and told the later arrivers to bring towels so everyone had one. 2) The game room/basement was very musty and unusable until I found that you had a dehumidifier but it had not been emptied in quite a while. After bringing the fan downstairs and running the dehumidifier for a couple days, we could use the room. There should be a warning for asthmatics looking to rent the house. 3) The hot tub was also unusable since it appears that the thermostat is broken and the water would not cool below 108 degrees even when leaving the top off. Apparently, that is a known issue since the owner is putting in a new hot tub adjacent to this broken one. 4) The kitchen plumbing needs replacement. As you know, the faucet sprayer blew off and I called and you helped me fix it over the phone. Later that evening, the sink drainpipes under the sink came apart, flooding the kitchen with the hot spaghetti water, and my nephew had to put the piping back together. We were afraid to use the dishwasher. A water cooler/dispenser is present but empty. we were told by the owner to take the bottle to the nearest market, thirty miles away, and get a new one. 5) Also in the kitchen, there was one small frying pan and many pots. Fortunately, we brought a griddle. 6) It is obvious that the house is being upgraded as there are a number of places in the house where projects are not finished. I expect a VRBO house to look nicer or be warned it is a work in progress. I'm sure it was grand a decade ago and likely will be again. I wish I could add pictures to this review.

Most relaxing, the property well situated amongst trees and woods. Plenty of clearing to enjoy the grounds for playing around. Our pitbull absolutely enjoyed the wandering and wooded areas. Local neighbors were very friendly. Many deer on the property every evening they would be out just after dark. Lots of games to keep you busy, WiFi worked great. The cabin was perfect, just bring your food and snacks. Everything else is there.

Family friendly
Enjoyed the grounds, newly renovated kitchen. Family took turns feeding the Koi and counting the frogs in the pond. Also saw gaggles of wild turkeys, deer and fox.
