"Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia."

"I specialize in the identification and removal of mold and other hazardous materials in hospitals and sensitive areas. There was visible mold, active leaks, and the smell of mildew throughout. The pictures were very misleading. The real problem here is we were visiting the area for an industry event (healthcare construction) and I brought a representative from a local healthcare facility who just so happened to be immunocompromised and battling cancer. Thats not a good look. I won't stay here...

"We arrived and found out that Gavin Cabin had no electricity and no running water. In order to use the bathroom you had to go to a community one. I did not read anything telling me that it was a primitive cabin. We were not very happy when we had to find another place to stay for the night"

"Needed a vacation in the mountains to get away from the heat and to have a good time before our oldest goes off to college next month. Cabin is in a secluded area with only a couple cabins near it, nice and quiet, but close to fishing, tubing, restraurants and shopping for the girls. "The a frame is great! It was big enough for me and my husband pretty comfortably, the views are great, it is on top of the mountain and so quiet at night! "What a neat little cabin. The host was extremely timely in answering all the questions. This is nestled on a dirt road; it does have cabins close by.
