"Before I start, a HUGE shout out to the owners Trent & Pam! Our mini vacation at Whispering Waves Cottages was just what we needed. The waterfront views are absolutely stunning at any time of day! Our teens went into the water for a dip. There were some deer around the outer perimeter of the property that didn’t bother us but beautiful to see around. The cottage was clean and spacious for 4 of us and lots of seating area outside of the cottage and on the property. Bring some groceries and drinks with you so you don’t have to go out again. Most restaurants and stores are about 25–30min away and be mindful that many may close earlier than you might be used to. If you enjoy beaches, there are many around in all directions to explore. We had lovely neighbours who were a great wealth of information & extremely helpful to us. (They have been going there for over 15 years and couldn’t speak enough about Whispering Waves and the owners!) We found ourselves in a big pickle one day and Trent & Pam were able to help us problem solve. We can’t express our gratitude enough for this support!!! 💗 We hope to be back again with some more family & friends!"

"Incredibly historical, beautiful setting and since my traveling schedule did not permit live contact with the owner, they have al the means to accommodate, the man could not have been nicer, checking in before making sure all was good then checking after, again, making sure my stay was good which it was, only wish I coulda spent a little more time there, I plan to next summer."

"What a find! This beautiful property just north of Shelburne NS, in middle Ohio nestled away from the wide world on deception lake was an unbelievable find. The last property on the winding road you a greeted by view of the lake and wonderful wrap around deck. The cottage was clean, spacious, comfortable beds and allows you to be removed from the world with all the comforts of the modern world. A beautiful fire place, two outdoor fire pits, Warf onto the water and sand beach. Weather you are relaxing in the Sunna or Hot tub, out on the lake on the kayaks or canoe or in the lake swimming. Everything about this place is about convivence and class. From the specular sunrise in the morning and sunsets at night. I highly recommend this property for your next family or personal getaway. I know I will be back to misty meadows. "

"This property is a gem. We discovered new things right to the end. Loved exploring the cactus solarium. There was so many little things to look at and we were blessed with blooms on 3 cacti and a water lily bloom at the end of the week. My only complaint is the amazing view and the crashing of the waves on the rocks kept distracting me from my book. Lol Jon is a superior host. Always at the ready to answer our questions.
