"This is a very old property but very quaint. We arrived in a very very hot spell and air conditioners were running everywhere but we were cool. The outside was very beautiful right on the lake. They do lots of things on the weekend it seems. Sorry we were there midweek. The owners were great and so helpful. They love the place and it shows. Will really try to get back there for more than one night to really enjoy the place"

"Loved staying at David’s home. The location is perfect and the kindness and friendliness of the host was welcoming. I didn’t realize it was a shared bath but that was not a problem since I was the only one there. Perhaps I missed that in the listing. "While our host provided fabulous breakfasts, the listing for the room was misleading. It says two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In reality there are three bedrooms and one bathroom. Our room was very, very small. There was no room for our suitcases and two people could hardly move around. The lighting in the room was not adequate."
