"For the price it was what I expected. Breakfast was exceptionally nice and accommodating. Rooms were fairly clean and noise was limited. My only disappointment was I wanted a hotel with a pool for my kids but it was broke however we played at an indoor water park near there for the day. Great stay and highly recommended if you are in the area and want to explore Starved Rock area."

"I should have read the reviews, the property is absolutely awful. There's standing water under the floorboards downstairs, the jacuzzi tubs haven't been maintained, the carpet is shabby, the fireplaces don't work, there's water damage that looks like mold on the ceiling above the stove. But all that is secondary to the bugs (live and dead) all over the place, and the mouse droppings found in the kitchen cabinets/drawers. Host was unwilling to address any of these issues, we ended up getting a refund from Vrbo. Don't book this property. "
