Homestead Living at Lake Wenatchee

This unique one room cabin (with an enclosed bathroom) was built in the 1950's and is an original Trappers cabin. It was completely remodeled in 2020 with all new amenities.

Midway Grocery is within walking distance; you can enjoy a hot latte in the winter or a hand dipped cone in the summer. There is a snow park for cross country skiing or snow shoeing just down the street. The snow park for snowmobiling is about 2 miles down an adjacent road. Stevens Pass is approximately 30 minutes away for down hill skiing in winter and mountain biking in summer.
Leavenworth is about 25 minutes away. You can spend the day in town and then return to the cabin for peace and quiet.

Please be advised that in winter, 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle is recommended.
The cabin sits on a main road that is plowed by the county and we keep the driveway plowed as well, but we are not responsible for guests not being able to make it over the pass in snowy conditions, therefore, refunds for weather conditions will only be offered if both Stevens Pass and Snoqualmie Pass are closed and/or it is too dangerous to travel, as determined by the WSDOT.

This cozy cabin is perfect for a single hiker/skier or for a couple who enjoy a quiet get-a-way from urban life. Close to beautiful Lake Wenatchee, trails, and the Bavarian themed tourist town of Leavenworth, the location offers many chances for adventure. Great communication with the owner, too!

Coziest Winter Wonderland Cabin
This is our 4th time here, so needless to say, we love it! I gave this cabin 5 stars (again) because it is exactly that. We always have such a beautiful time warming up by the fire, cooking up great food in the kitchen, sleeping awesome, and cross-country skiing in the area. We will be back!

Cross Country Ski Heaven
We love it here! This is our third time staying at the cabin and we will be back again. It's a perfect space for winter adventures as there are many cross country ski trails surrounding. It's such a sweet cabin, has everything needed to be comfortable - including an incredibly comfy bed, and the location is superb.

Great little get away. Cozy cabin has more things than expected including fridge/freezer, microwave, keurig, little tv with dvd’s, and an outdoor fire pit and grill. We enjoyed our time there. Comfy bed, nice lighting. Loved the little details in this trapper’s cabin. Had a deer visitor too!

Perfect for our needs!
It's just perfect! Not too small and not too big. You have enough space for everything you need. It's perfectly close to Leavanthworth, lake Wenatchee, and many other activities. It was very clean and the whole vibe was perfect for us.

Wonderful Stay
It is easy to tell right away the care and thought put into this cabin. For being small in size, it has a big delivery. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay: Well equipped little kitchen, firewood and kindling, comfortable bed and linens, nice dvd selection, and even the cozy fire pit area. We will definitely be coming back!

A place to sleep
We wanted a place to sleep while spending most of our time with our daughter’s and son’s families nearby. The little cabin was clean and cozy. Although we did not use them, it was well appointed with kitchen items and a small refrigerator and stove. The check-in was easy and the property manager very helpful and responsive to questions.

This cabin was perfect! Literally everything needed was provided for the best two night getaway we could ask for! From location to instruction on how to use the wood fireplace inside! Perfect for a winter decompress.
The property was quaint and cozy. Perfect for the two of us. We loved the antique decorations and wood stove. We lost power one night, but had no trouble staying warm. Our hosts were very considerate, bringing us a thermos of hot coffee, fresh kindling, and a note related to the power outage status. We had a great stay and would consider it again.

Winter getaway
Perfect mountain cabin for a winter cross country ski trip. The wood stove is impressive as it burns wood so efficiently that once you get it started you won’t need to continue feeding it! We had a really good time at this cabin. Great facilities to cook and relax after a day of skiing. Multiple sno-park ski trails groomed with few people using them mid week. All in all a wonderful place to be for a few days. Even a small grocery store about a half mile away. Would stay here again and highly recommend.
