A Rainy but Cozy Stay
This home is situated up high in the mountains between Maggie Valley and Waynesville NC. An absolutely beautiful view from the deck. We had so much rain the 3 days we were there we didn't get to enjoy as much as we wanted. But the inside was very clean and had everything that we needed. Wifi, a tv we could log into Netflix, and a number of other apps available. With 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a large room with bunkbeds it is great for a family. Thanks for letting us enjoy the view!

Maple Springs Cozy, Private Getaway
We enjoyed our stay in the quiet, quaint Maple Springs neighborhood. Misty Mountain Cottage was the perfect, cozy place for us! Gated and fenced in property, it was also great for our dog. He had just enough room outside to run around and explore, and plenty of space inside for all 3 of us with the large rooms, bathrooms, and high ceilings. The king bed mattresses are very comfortable memory foam, and the added playroom/bunk room would be perfect for a family or two with kids! Great Wi-Fi and Roku TV services. Nice, updated kitchen with large dining table. Big l-shaped couch in the living area (very comfy). My favorite was the gas log fireplace - warmed the living room in minutes. There are two blankets provided in the house, so plan to bring extra if traveling with a group. The property has 5 outdoor security cameras. I’m not sure if all were online. There is a motion light facing the driveway which was great for driving up after dark, and the porch is well lit. Two of the cameras face the front and back door - we closed the blinds at night so it wasn’t too much of a privacy concern. Future guests may want to back into the driveway as there is not much room to turn around. Overall, a lovely cottage with awesome views! Minutes from Maggie Valley and Waynesville. We will definitely stay here again for future mountain getaways!

The property was perfect for our stay we enjoyed the view every evening and the beds were very comfortable We had a small hiccup with the key code not working upon arrival, but property manager got back with me quickly to get us into the house Would recommend and if I ever vacation back in that location would stay there again!

Home is very spacious, kitchen had everything we needed. Property is very secluded and has great views of the surrounding mountains. Nightly campfires were very relaxing. Bathrooms could use a little updating. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The property was clean and as advertised. Two things and both are minor. 1. There were no steak knives. 2. A sign at the driveway entrance would be great. It is difficult to see at night. As stated, both are minor and would not keep us from renting the property again!!!

We arrived pretty late and driving up the windy roads was a bit daunting but we found the house to be very comfortable, updated and we enjoyed sitting with our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the trees/mountains. House had everything we needed even coffee!! Thanks for a nice stay. We will definitely consider staying again when we are back in the area.

Private wooded home
Open floorplan with plenty of room to stretch out. The deck is phenomenal and a great place to just sit and enjoy nature. Its out there a bit but if privacy is what you crave you will get it here. The only issue was a couple of doors would stick when trying to get them open, I assume humidity made them expand. Otherwise highly recommend staying here.

Perfect hideaway!
The drive in is gorgeous, and then this cottage is tucked in trees with complete privacy! Everything we needed was available, clean and in immaculate condition. The huge porch with the swing was a great coffee in the morning, or smores in the evening spot. So grateful it was pet friendly and a perfect area to walk. We wish we had booked a longer stay! Definitely hope to be back!

Great location
The house was perfect for our family. The ages ranged from 4 to 88. We picked the house because there was easy access without stairs. I loved the deck and wished there were less trees to have a better view but we found a great view from the driveway. The house was clean and had activities for kids including some board/card games and fooseball. My daughter loved the bunk beds and the little person light. The beds where comfortable and we had all the kitchen items we needed. We really felt at home in this mountain house and would definitely stay again.
