« My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this lovely basement apartment. We appreciated how clean it was and the bed and pillows were so comfortable! The bathroom and kitchen areas were spacious and the living room area so nicely decorated. We had everything that we needed for our stay. We had one question regarding how to work the television and our host answered us quickly on the details. We would highly recommend this Vrbo in the Scranton area. »

« We really enjoyed our stay for a skiing weekend. The apartment had everything we needed to make homemade meals and was close to restaurants etc for ventures out. It was incredibly clean, comfortable and welcoming. The hike up the stairs wasn't the most fun, but was worth it for such a nice place! »

« The loft was so homey and inviting. My husband and I loved the convenience of walking everywhere in the town and coming back to a private relaxing apt that we felt safe and comfortable in. There were so many great restaurants ranging from pizza, subs to Chinese food or wonderful Italian restaurants and the Lake Wally Cafe was small but great food! We loved our stay and my husband even said he’d like to stay longer next time. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit...

I travelled that far and my stay was cancelled why? This has really turned me off to VRBO..I guess your company has poor communications..they said they called me, checked my call log no unknown phone calls, no messages.I messaged owner the morning of my stay for the key code for property..no answer until 2:05 pm that afternoon in a email...

« The apartment is the perfect size for a short stay for 1-2 people. There’s an oven, fridge, microwave, etc. and there is a grocery store less than 1/2 mile away. There is also a good selection of nice restaurants across the street. It was clean and the owner is responsive. A very nice place overall. I would not recommend this place for anyone older or anyone who has difficulties walking up stairs. There is a flight of wooden stairs outside that you have to climb to get to the room. »

It was very comfortable- had everything we needed. 2 ways to make coffee, a fancy B&O Bluetooth speaker, good looking TV setup even though we didn’t try it but the speaker was great, a nice selection of books and art, everything we needed in the kitchen, nice lemongrass soap, easy access, place to park, details on where to eat or buy supplies nearby. We would definitely come back. »

« We had a lovely time staying Christine and Shawn’s home. The amenities within the community are great. Hawley is a 15 minute drive away and has a great small town feel with loads of antique shops. There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. The house is clean and cozy and Shawn and Christine send you loads of info and recommendations making the trip easy and enjoyable »
