"Very clean, had all necessary amenities (tv, fridge, coffee machine, microwave), spacious, very comfortable bed. Roomy shower with good water pressure. Good breakfast options. Friendly staff and an area in the lobby with food, drinks, and travel necessities for sale. It also has a convenient location, with Faulkner’s estate only a couple of minutes away by car. I had a very positive experience. "

"Great location with several restaurants, shops and entertainment (primarily on weekends) available within walking distance. Even with our room overlooking a busy street it was very quiet. {Heard an ambulance late one night, not an issue and understandable}. Staff was awesome! The two women we had the pleasure of speaking with at the front desk were friendly, professional and very helpful. The cleaning staff were also all very pleasant and greeted you each time they saw you, in addition to taking good care of us and our room. I appreciated the underground parking garage however it is a bit tight to maneuver in/out some spots. And a bit expensive but worth it to not be parked on the street or in an open lot. We didn't eat in the restaurant. Since they didn't have anything meeting my very strict dietary requirements, I can't attest to the quality or service. If ever we go back to Oxford, I would absolutely stay at The Oliver again. "
