"This is a hidden gem in the DC area and my favorite place to stay. Quiet, elegant, beautiful boutique hotel at its best! The price would lead you to believe otherwise. I love to hang out in the lobby or courtyard and the staff could NOT be more helpful. Really. They couldn't. The Mt. Vernon metro is a few blocks away with a direct line to the Mall for museums or anywhere else. Safe neighborhood but not remote. I felt comfortable walking alone anywhere, anytime. "
