"Very well appointed home a short walk from the West Point gate that met all of our needs for a weekend of catching up, going for walks and attending a wedding. Property is close to Storm King Art Center which is a great way to spend a beautiful afternoon. We lost power for 17 hours (neighborhood transformer blew) and the owners could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend this house. "

"Fishing/Lake: There is absolutely no access to the lake, including the community beach. No swimming. No fishing. Such details must be in the property's details in caps. Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house....

"When we arrived at the house it was just like the photos. We enjoyed the whole house. The fireplace added some romance to our evenings. We felt very comfortable as soon as we walked in. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The view of the lake from the deck was great. Thank you very much for the beautiful house."

"This home was just what our group of 16 needed to find rest, reconvene from the day’s activities, and prepare for all the next day’s activities. The town of Monroe was a great place to stay as it was centrally located for all the places we visited. "

"My family of 14 has been renting homes to gather for the holidays for many years and this one was one of the best. The bedrooms and gathering rooms were spacious and inviting, the dining table accommodated all of us (including two high chairs) and the third floor playroom was wonderful for my two year old granddaughter. It was December but we were able to try out the pickleball court, and there were lovely places to walk as a group a short car ride away. Worked so well for us. "
