"The Cottage at Entabeni was the perfect setting for exploring the Hana area and romance. It was so peaceful watching sunrise and sunset on the porch, getting visits from the kitty, and just slowing down. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, bed was incredibly comfy and we had a built-in sound machine with the wind and rain noises. The property tour was a nice touch and we enjoyed our conversation with Michael about all the botany! "

"So much to see and do up here. Winery, high quality coffee shops and restaurants are all within 15 mins. Not to mention a huge time savings driving to Haleakala and Hana. Many farms to tour from tequila to chocolate to honey and friendly people everywhere. "This is a beautiful property in an absolutely amazing location. We love love LOVED Paia - it is away from the more touristy areas of Maui, has great shops and restaurants, and it was so incredible to be directly on the beach while also being smack in the middle of town. "We loved it. Stayed for 10 days, and all four of us were thrilled with the property, amenities, the management, and the communication. A no-brainer when we come back to Maui.We listened to the birds over coffee in the morning, and kicked back at the place almost every night of our stay. Close to surfing, hikes, waterfalls - you name it...I'm not sure there is much more to say other than we loved it here and mentioned many times how great a setup it was for a group of old friends."

"The view was beautiful from the balcony as it was right on the beach. Unit was very clean and had everything you needed for an enjoyable vacation. The king bed was comfortable and it is always nice to have a washer & dryer. The one recommendation I would make would be to upgrade the living room furniture as it is very uncomfortable and outdated. "

Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

"The beach is the absolute star of the show. Love the different pools and landscaping throughout the property. Some areas need a little repair with some walkways with missing or crumbled stones. The pools were open until 10pm which was so nice but towels were not available poolside after 5pm. You had to go upstairs to the valet which was odd and inconvenient. I noticed that used glasses and debris were left in sitting areas, lobby, walkways, for lengthy amounts of time. The room itself was well situated, had a nice view, and a beautiful large bathroom. The room was very clean and housekeeping services were excellent although the room decor could use an update. The biggest asset of this resort is the staff. In all areas we found the staff to be helpful, courteous, and enjoyable. A special mention to the front desk, Carolina, she was super. Shopping is a short walk from the resort."
