"Hotel has a great location but is waiting for renovation and rebranding. No hair dryer provided, no one at the desk to ask about it. Breakfast was substandard. Only coffee in the room were two flavored Keurig pods. Stairs up were dirty, furniture in the room more than a bit dingy. But a good price, which is what I had been seeking for just one night to lay down my head. Even so, I probably won't stay there until after the remodel (sorry). "

"We stayed at this facility to save some money by not staying directly in Lacrosse like we preferred. It was pet friendly with a nice area for my dogs to go outside. It was in fairly good condition and clean. The hotel offered free breakfast which was decent. The negatives were the walls were not very good at keeping the sound out from other rooms. "The stay was great until we tried to relax in the hot tub. There were about 30 unsupervised kid jumping in the pool, throwing each other in and doing cannonballs around us. We reported it to the night desk person but we were dismissed by him, saying he had no way to determine whose kid to stop the issue, so we went to our room. "Overall good experience. Waited quite a bit for a front desk person to show up a couple of times but when they did they were very good customer service. The parking situation that I paid for was a bit confusing but they made up for it by letting me park in front at the loading zone. My truck is a bit too high to fit in the parking ramp. "

"Good location. Not the cleanest. Beds were ok. No hot breakfast. There was a microwave if you wanted to heat something up. Juice machine was leaking and left a puddle on floor. One customer complained his bagel was moldy. For a cheap night it’s ok but don’t expect much."

"The facilities were good but when the shower knob/lever can't stay in place and turns the water temperature super hot in the middle of bathing, it becomes quite a burden covered in soap. Some things seemed outdated otherwise it was an accepted short stay. The breakfast did make up for it as it was hot, fresh, and enough to have my fill."

"Awesome property and amenities. Its clear someone put a lot of thought into making this place a great getaway. This cabin is a work of wooden art. "

"If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax"

"Always like to get away with my dog at the end of February. This cabin was PERFECT. There was no one else around. The trails around the property were fun for me and my dog. The cabin itself was also super nice and just like the pictures. I’m sure it’s even more beautiful I. The spring and fall."

"This was such a cozy, clean, welcoming little cabin in a quiet valley only a 10-minute drive (at most) into Viroqua. Lovely big table for crafts, puzzles, knitting, games, or just sitting and chatting! Tons of natural light!!Word of caution that most of the extra beds are upstairs, so people sleeping upstairs should be comfortable climbing the ladder.I would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Jake and Becky, for sharing your slice of paradise with us and for being such welcoming hosts! Little cup of cocoa for the soul. "

"Clean home with very comfortable beds. Very quiet surroundings and the host had plenty of kitchenware. Would of been best if the coffee maker worked, better water pressure and cookie sheet for baking bacon in the morning. Otherwise we loved our stay. "
