Amazing all-inclusive experience. Staff was wonderful and facilities were great. Having an adults area was a nice change when we wanted more quiet. Excellent bar staff. Jamal at the pool bar always served with a smile. The Jerk Treehouse was 5 stars for lunch and the guys working there were also amazing. We never made it to the beach bar but everyone raved about it. Transportation to the airport could not have been easier. Easy, fun vacation.

We had an incredible stay at Ladera Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, everyone was genuinely kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. The open-air room concept is absolutely divine. Falling asleep to the sounds of nature and waking up to breathtaking views made the experience feel truly immersive and peaceful. It’s the perfect blend of luxury and the outdoors, incredibly relaxing and unlike any other place we’ve stayed. The excursions offered were all fantastic and well-organized, adding adventure and variety to our days. Whether it was exploring the local area or enjoying the beauty of the island, each activity was memorable and well worth it. The only small downside was that not all guests seemed to respect the tranquil atmosphere. With the open design and proximity of the rooms, noise can sometimes carry, which could affect the serene vibe for those looking to fully unwind. That said, it didn't take away from our overall experience, this is definitely a place we plan to return to. Ladera is a true gem for anyone seeking a luxurious, nature-infused getaway.

Fantastic place for a relaxing honeymoon!

The good- The property was beautiful. We dated in hideaway plus Diamond Club and our butlers Fabian & Benjamin were awesome. So was our housekeeper Ginette. The bad- being locked out of our room due to some system outage. Having to go in an all day excursion without access to any of my cash, my phone for photos/memories, sun visor, etc returning 9 hours later and still locked out. Waiting for 2 security guards to go building to building before we can be let back in. My husband had to know on our neighbors door (honeymooners? Ask to go through their room and swim up pool to get to our swim up pool and come through our patio doors, trek water throughout our room and let me in. But if you leave your room you have to leave the deadbolt open so you can get back in or go through process of waiting for security. Hotel lobby says to put items in safe and leave door open if you want to leave for dinner. The next morning, still not fixed and had to leave open as we head out for another pre-paid excursion. Our butler messaged me to let me know the system was fixed and that we needed to get room key reprogrammed once we returned. After all of that, the hotel only wants to offer a $50 credit towards your balance with them. Not credit for any Marriott. If you have no balance you get nothing for the inconvenience. So glad I booked through Expedia and not direct. At least Expedia offered me a $400 key cash credit towards my next booking with them. Thank you Expedia!!!
