"New renovation is great for a hotel/motel in this class. While work is still being finished to some of the outside structure it had absolutely no effect on my stay. Room was great, nice with good lighting and modern furniture/colors (far cry from what you normally get in this class). Great value overall. Only down-side is there's nothing around it in terms of cafe/dinning. Will need to take a long walk or drive. "

"Centered in the heart of Downtown Ventura, the Clocktower Inn is a very short & easy walk to shopping, restaurants, etc. Staff is courteous & helpful & the hotel fees are very reasonable for its location. "

"The beds have the right amount of firmness and softness that is comfortable to the back. They have extra pillows, a ref, a coffee maker and a microwave in the room. There are chairs in the balcony too. The bath essentials smells good. Our room is in the 2nd floor and the roof is what we see from our balcony if only they put turf on if it is not a fire hazard would have been nice."
