"I had booked here so we would have easy access to our trip to Monaco for the F1 Race, but found it really was not the best location, even though it had been recommended. I had tried to book with my Amex card, but they sent me a note telling me they did not accept that credit card even though it is on their brochure. Most importantly- The hotel website and brochure both stated they had a shuttle service to the train station, which we found out was false. This is one reason I booked with them, so...

"Immaculately clean and well-equipped apartment with good internet and smart TVs in all rooms. Good quality (and quiet) air conditioning throughout and was much needed. Pool was clean and well looked after. Hosts live upstairs and were kind and helpful. Only drawback is the A8 motorway which can obscure the beautiful view of the valley and does have some noise which is only heard when outside the property. We had a great stay!"

"The apartment is perfectly located in Ventimiglia old town, a short distance from bus stops and about a 20 minute walk from the train station. The stairs up to the apt in the 600 yr old building are challenging for anyone with limited mobility, but awesome balcony views make up for the climb. The unit itself was clean and comfortable but the common stairs and hallway leading to it were filthy - visible litter remained the whole 12 days we stayed.
