Debra was so helpful and kind and reached out to let me know that she was available if my friend and I needed anything. She also left us some fresh chicken eggs to use, which was a lovely touch. "This property is right on the water, with a beach only at low tide. The view is magnificent, there are sea lions and other wildlife to see, it is quiet and peaceful. "We booked this property while taking a trip to the west side to visit family. We originally chose it because it was close to the zoo. The fact that it’s a completely remodeled, period style home was a quirky bonus, until we got there. Every detail was perfect, from the furniture down to music playing when we walked in. We’re already planning our next visit, but without the kids next time. "

"Dont stay here! The place is nice inside, but if you want to sleep, dont stay here. Train tracks are a block away and blare their horns all night long. There were 3 trains alone from 1-1:30am. I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. The management company, Evolve, has been extremely dismissive and will only give me a refund worth 1/4 of the daily total, even though I gave notice, asked for a refund, and...

"Area is so beautiful with the smell of the pines. The fall colors of the trees and peaceful trails. Pete and Bonnie are so accommodating with my asthma they made this stay better than I could imagine. This cottage is roomy, comfy and close to everywhere you would like to go.
