The UBC campus is gorgeous and there are lots to do in the area. Close to lovely Spanish Banks. Hotel is great value for money, and you're just 25 minutes from downtown Vanconver if you're driving.

Loved the grounds of UBC around the Gage Apartments, was a quick walk to my course I was attending. There were a few things that were not cleaned/maintained in my room, there was a previous guests watch strap in the bedroom and hair from previous guest in shower as well as a used face cloth. There were also several lights that were not working, the front entrance light and main bedroom light. Aside from those few things I enjoyed my stay, loved having my own kitchen. Couldn’t figure out the TV but I was there to study anyways.

This was a good experience. Signage wasn't great, but once we found check-in, the experience was good. It was really convenient to be right on campus, and the unit was clean and comfortable.

The check in process was awkward. Poor signage to the check in area, then surprised that the hotel proper was in a completely different building across the street with the entrance around a corner, and not clearly marked The staff could not be faulted for lack of friendliness but their instructions for how to locate the hotel entrance and where to park, were confusing. Once we found our rooms, we were pleased and passed a quiet and comfortable night.
