« Loved the location and the view off the porch especially. Many deer passed through. Several problems unfortunately. 1)The door code and door lock were inoperable. Had to call Vacasa and get key to lock box and physical key. Even then, the door would not lock behind us. 2) Internet did not work until third day of stay. Again, this required phone time with Vacasa. 3) Hot water tap in second bedroom would not produce hot water. 4) Both tubs had unpleasant black mold on grout and caulk that might...

« The history of the property, the craftsmanship of the build, the accommodations, the cleanliness and attention to detail as well as the location are all 10 out of 10. We were very blessed to happen upon it by chance and made an excellent weekend get away for our wedding anniversary. We would definitely stay here again and really enjoyed it! »

« Very close to all things in downtown Blowing Rock. 300 feet from Bald Guy Brewing for great coffee. Having dedicated parking was nice as well, we never had an issue finding a spot. Unit was spotless when we arrived. All appliances and HVAC worked with no issues. The beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets to stay warm.One item to be ready for if you have a fall or winter rental - the checkout instructions have the outgoing tenant drop the thermostat to 54*. So be ready for it to be chilly...
