"The food was horrible if you are not a fish eater you could go with out food. Warning the chicken curry is full of bones broken and sharp. Our complementary breakfast never came. they have 3 items on there dinner menu and you still have to wait 1.5 to 2 hours for it to arrive. When you go to check out they had no credit card machine so that added a layer of difficulty to the stay. "

"Hursey Resort was a very pleasant stay for us. It is just outside Soroti (about 5km) on the edge of town with views of the surrounding area. The hotel is in secure compound with large garden grounds. The Staff are excellent, very professional, helpful and friendly. The room was large, clean and very comfortable with AC and plenty of hot water for the shower. Wifi was generally good and quite fast. "We had a wonderful stay at Fredson’s. We’d been to Sipi a few times many years ago but this experience was different and very special. Fred and his family are wonderful and welcoming. "This was our third stay in 5 trips at the Akello. Good service, clean rooms and convenient. Restaurant was limited in their offerings but they are still recovering from covid. We booked through Expedia and while it worked the staff was a little confused. We would stay here again. "
