The food in The View for breakfast and The Cottage for dinner was pretty good, although the buffet breakfast items were cold. Also, I couldn't use the buffet because there are a couple of stairs without a handrail to get from the seating area (I use a cane and need a handrail if I am carrying something.) Perfectly manicured by the groundskeepers, there is no garbage or litter to be found anywhere, no gum on the sidewalks…. an old picturesque small town, and nothing about it is rundown! The room was clean and comfortable enough but lacked simple things like no door holder to bring luggage in and out and the carpet tiles outside in the hall were coming up and missing . Not a deal breaker but not something I'd expect for a room at that cost. Overall it was not a bad experience but I would probably forgo staying here for something cheaper and just as good of quality."
