"We love Andaz, and almost always stay here when we’re back in Ottawa. But just know that right now the lot behind the hotel is being bulldozed and dug out (there is also no longer any onsite parking, as a result of this). Construction begins at 7am and is extremely loud. Thankfully they didn’t seem to be doing much on the weekend. I know there’s nothing to be done, this is the downtown experience. "A good choice. The Sonder model, at least at this location, which was my first experience seems to be akin to a no frills about it, self service shopping experience. Minimal contact with staff, who were very friendly and helpful and easy checkin simply by showing up. The app works well. I had everything I needed, almost and slept well except for the false fire alarm. The room was great. Only two complaints. No USB ports and no lotion. "Great property. Close to everything. Staff is really nice and attentive. Beautiful place to stay and do some work from the lobby as well. My only issue was that the housekeeping cart was left all night beside my door. Little detail that should be taken care off. Other than that, my new to go hotel in Ottawa. "

"Place was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful and the free breakfast in the morning was pretty good aswell. The only complaint i have is that the cable on tv was down so nothing to watch when we wanted to relax and watch a movie with the kids and they didnt tell us anything at check in and no compensation for it either. Beds were super comfy, best sleep we all have had in a long time. Over all great place and i would definitely go back."
