« What a treat to stay in town and walk to everything. Really enjoyed the huge shower, extremely comfortable bed, view of the river, easy parking right outside the front door. So many sweet extras like chocolate treats left on the bed, a sound machine, an array of pillows. The only thing we were wishing for was a bidet! »

« Very charming historic inn. Staff was nice and helpful upon check-in, and when i accidentally locked my key in the room. I booked the Bouvier room on the 3rd floor which was quiet and comfortable. Being a historic inn, I went in with the expectation that it would be low frills, which is was. But for the price, I think it's a great option for anyone staying in the Newtown area who wants historic charm and to be in the walkable State Street area. »

There were no lights in the entry and there was an sunken entry to the room we nearly fell into the room. There were remains from the previous logger including dirty glasses and trash.
