The UN Memorial Cemetery in Busan is a park dedicated to the victims of the Korean War. The UN Memorial Cemetery opened in 1955 on land donated by the Parliament of Korea. Many of the fallen were repatriated however, those that remain stand as thought-provoking reminders of the past.

Enter via an artistic gate designed by the notable Pyongyang-born architect Kim Joong-up. Inside the adjacent Memorial Hall is an exhibition of photos and artifacts that recount events of the Korean War.
