"Our second time staying, snow was way better than 2024. Absolutely love the convenience of this place. It is right on the Bill Nichols Trail. The South Range Pub and the 1920 Tap & Grill are both just across the street for grog and grub after a day on the trails. The accomodations were clean and the owner was very responsive. We'll be coming back to stay for our next snowmobile trip."

"We were on the go for much of our week in the U.P., and this was a great place to land at the end of each day. Accommodations were just right - everything we needed, nothing we didn’t, and a terrific location. Our pup loved morning and evening walks on the trails, the lake was lovely, and during a warm week, Fred and Maria were thoughtful about making sure things were cool and comfortable. We’re looking forward to going back."

"The outside of the building doesn’t represent how the place is on the inside. It’s a nice clean and well taken care of apartment that was comfy to stay in. Relatively quiet just noisy cars driving by at night. Very nice place to stay and a not very far from Houghton so it’s definitely a place I’d revisit."
