The Space:
Inside, open-plan living, angled high ceilings, and expansive windows enhance the tranquility throughout. Slide back the doors onto the wraparound deck and bring the outside in on summer days or hunker down in front of the wood burner on winter nights. The Coastal Retreat is a hideaway for all seasons.

A short walk down the tracks on either side of your doorstep will land you in your own private coves overlooking the Poor Knights Islands. Enjoy an early morning dip before stretching into the day on the yoga deck, encompassed by the moving ocean.

The whole Tutukaka Coast is a world-renowned playground that is within easy reach. A few minutes’ drive will take you to over twenty beaches, including the iconic Matapouri, Whale, and Sandy Bays. There are boutique shops, fitness centres, numerous eateries, and opportunities for walking, surfing, kayaking, boating, fishing, snorkelling, biking, golf, and more. The Coastal Retreat perfectly balances a private getaway and accessible activities.

Inside:
There are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower, and another with two single beds and a separate bathroom with a shower.

The house is fully equipped with Starlink internet, a smart TV, binoculars, games, fridge-freezer, beverage fridge, Nespresso machine, oven, three-zone induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, gas barbecue, washing machine, and dryer.

The living area has a ceiling fan, heat pump, and wood burner to ensure year-round comfort.

Outside:
The expansive elevated decking puts you amongst the canopy of trees and surrounds the interior with an al fresco dining area and outdoor shower. Spectacular views up the coast and out to the Poor Knights Islands.

Escape to your own private paradise. Coastal tracks lead from the Coastal Retreat to two secluded coves, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The yoga/meditation platform also offers a serene spot for a picnic or sunset drink.

Further afield, the twenty-acre property with a rugged coastline is available for you to roam and explore.

Please note that the owners live in a house separate from the Coastal Retreat, ensuring complete privacy. They are so happy to share this amazing place with you.
