Elegant yet down to earth, old but not outdated, and in the heart of it all but still a place to find relaxation and solace. Very convenient to everything downtown Berkeley Springs has to offer and a great place for a weekend getaway or a stopover on a longer journey. There are restaurants and shops blocks away and within the hotel, the bar and restaurant offer a homey atmosphere and some fine meals. The Reuben was excellent and the service was top notch. Overall I would say it's a hotel that has the personal warmth of a bed and breakfast but without the restrictions. Will definitely be back! "
