There were so many fishing spots close by, hunting was an option but we didn’t end up going, the hiking with my dog was so beautiful and even just walking around the property was so calming and pretty. We went into Madoc (25 minute drive that was also super scenic and pretty) to do local shopping and they had so many great little shops. "We were a party of 4 families totaling 13 people. We stayed at the cottage the 3rd week in June. The cottage is very clean and comfy with enough room for everybody. The A-Frame was a pleasant surprise. A pretty cool place to stay. The cottage is on a beautiful lake with crystal clear water.
