"This is a very special property built as a place to enjoy the mild winter and dry air of Tucson. The rooms and grounds are meticulously maintained. The interior public spaces are grand, furnished with antique furniture built on site. The high standards for maintenance and the quality of the staff make this place as good as it ever was. "This was one of a number of multiple day business trips where I have chosen to stay here. The bed is very comfortable. On this stay the property had many empty rooms so it was nice and quiet. The surrounding area is a bit seedy, and food options within walking distance are quite limited. My only criticism of the room is that the bathtub/shower was a bit funky. "
