"Wonderful boutique hotel. Reception staff were discreet but very helpful when engaged. Elegant breakfast included. Our suite seemed a little dated with carpeting and older feel but was comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand was big and modern. Amazing location as well. I would definitely return but would ensure to get one of the more updated rooms. The estate prosecco and macarons were an elegant touch."

"This property was very nice and clean and the view was amazing. But if you are just in Trieste overnight to catch a cruise you would be better staying in Trieste as this place is 20-30 minutes away from cruise port. Also the train drop off is a 20 minute walk down steep hill and stairs to get to hotel. There were no cabs in sight. The bus stop is a 10 minute walk away. A cab to terminal costs about 30 euros. We were there on the off season in October and all local restaurants in area were...

"Everything was just fine, comfortable beds, great location, attentive staff. A minor issue was some of the doors on the 4th floor were not properly aligned. Needed to be slammed to make it shut completely. Could disturb other guests. "

"The staff was lovely and breakfast beautiful but not anything hot. Just cold hard boiled eggs. Would have likes a hot breakfast but what was there was delicious. Rooms were small but clean. Showers waaaaay too small. Cruise ship shower is bigger. "
