Incredible Luxury Suite in the Village

SUITE 318 is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom luxury condo in Building 50 of The Village at Grand Traverse Commons. One of the LARGEST units in the Building at 2300 sq ft. Located in the middle of the Commons and a quick walk or bike from downtown Traverse City, SUITE 318 is the perfect place for your family or group of friends to stay while exploring Up North. We love our home and know you will too.

This beautiful and well-appointed condo features a gourmet kitchen complete with a library ladder, antique apothecary cabinet and plenty of space for family and friends. Natural light floods in the first floor with its 13 foot ceilings. Beautiful views of the front lawn abound including peek-a-boo views of the bay.

Each bath is a full bathroom, 1 bathroom features a jetted tub and another features a massive soaking tub.

Bedroom 1: This bedroom is on the first floor and has queen bed. Adjacent to the bedroom is a full bath with jetted tub.

Bedroom 2: Upstairs bedroom with a queen bed (2nd floor). Adjacent to its own bathroom.

Bedroom 3: Master Suite with king size bed and attached master bath (2nd floor).

Bedroom 4: It is accessible through the master bedroom (up an additional level on 3rd floor) with a small opening between it and the master bedroom. A double bed is provided in this room.

The Commons is a unique community with a bakery, coffee shops (Higher Grounds and Cuppa Joe), restaurants (including James Beard finalist Trattoria Stella), wine bars, art galleries, boutique retail shops, pilates and yoga studios and much, much more. See link below.

Other benefits of the condo: tv, automatic blinds in great room, Bose bluetooth speaker. Fully stocked with linens, paper products, towels, coffee maker, hair dryers and curling irons, soaps, shampoo and conditioners, etc.

The Commons is the largest historic preservation project in the country at the site of a 150 year old State Hospital.

Perfect "Home Base"
Just 3 couples enjoying a relaxing weekend together in Traverse City - and this was the perfect place to do that. Loved the well stocked kitchen for our meals "in" and for our wine tasting sessions featuring the Paso Robles wines we brought with us. The living space was great for our conversations, playing cards or games or watching a little sports.The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and spotless and we could wander easily downstairs into the Commons for a tour of the property, some shopping at Saturday's Farmer's Market or just looking through the many shops on site.Hope we can come back and do this again!

Amazing Space
This location is not only full of history and beauty but it is centrally located within Traverse City, close to shopping, dinning and the lake life. The apartment space is the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in with attention to details for travelers comfort, and needs. We didn't want to leave!

This condo is absolutely beautiful! There were 8 of us on a Mother/Daughter wine weekend and this was the perfect place for us to stay. Everyone got a bed and with 8 women, 3 full baths were essential. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed this condo. Great architecture. Very good location. Historical. Well decorated. Many ammenities. We will come back. Only issue was getting our luggage up to the room but I'm only noting this because of those who may have issues with stairs.

Great experience for family accommodations
We really enjoyed our stay at the Commons. During busy times, it was hard to find a parking spot. The beds were all comfortable with the softest linens. It was quiet. We were wanting to eat at one of the restaurants, but couldn’t get in either of the Italian restaurants. I wish those before us had not spilled all over the stairs, that is why I deducted from the review

Very cool place
This place was great! Excellent location, restaurants,coffee shops, bakery are all right there. Walkable to town, although a longer one, but you go thru the cutest neighborhoods. The ONLY negative was the 4th bedroom on the 3rd floor is only accessible through the Master bedroom. So, a little awkward if you’re not related. That should probably be mentioned in the description. Other than that, the place was fabulous!

A beautiful experience with a lasting impression!
We had been on several tours of the run down parts of the hospital and always wanted to see how the rooms were after renovation. It was a great experience and they have been beautifally renovated. There is nothing more impressive then to be looking through the upstairs window at a massive spire during a rain and lightening event! Although, seeing a full moon shine upon the spire was quite the site as well! 👍👍👍

Wine Weekend for a Bride-to-Be!
The condo was perfect for our group of 8 women, aged late 20's to mid-60's. The bedrooms were comfortable, the bathrooms plentiful (3), and the kitchen/dining/living space was perfect. Finding the best parking lot was a bit tricky and I would advise looking at a well marked map of the complex before arriving. There were a few stairs at the entrance but the elevator to our floor worked flawlessly. The kitchen appeared to be well stocked, but we brought our own pre-cooked meals and only needed to use the microwave and oven. We enjoyed browsing the shops on the mainfloor ('sidewalk sale' during our weekend!). We did not make a reservation for breakfast on Sunday and waited about an hour to be seated at The Red Spire, but food was delicious and our server was able to get a few of us in & out in time for our tour which was one hour later. Overall we had a great weekend!

Even Better Than Description
This has got to be one of the most unique places we’ve stayed anywhere. The living space was comfortable for 7 of us (two families), and located in a setting very easy to explore the area. There are adjacent trails where the boys went running and biking. We walked into town one evening, and biked into town one day. Rented a boat on Long Lake. Explored the cute Fishtown shops and loved Front Street in TC. I can’t say enough about how well the kitchen is stocked and it’s a beautiful kitchen as well. High end and yet historically preserved decor. Such a welcoming feel to it, classy and fun. There is a Meijer nearby for groceries. The beds are comfy, bathrooms, spacious - especially the master. We highly recommend the Sleeping Bear Dune Climb - it’s tough but worth it! I can’t say enough about how kind, helpful and communicative the Mgr, Beth was. Would totally stay here again, maybe to check out a different season.

Girls Trip
Quick overnight trip to Traverse City to go to the Twilight Tour of the State Hospital and dinner at the Trattoria Stella. Everything we wanted to do was in the same building as our condo. The condo itself was clean and comfortable, which is saying a lot for 7 women to agree on! We all thought it was excellent! Thank you!

Friends' Reunion Getaway
We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, luxury condo in the Village. The community offers anything you may need for an enjoyable weekend getaway. Restaurants, brewery, wine tasting, exercise, leisurely walks, and downtown TC is just mile down the road. Would absolutely stay here again!
