"The house is situated in a vineyard with fig trees growing around the house. It is a 25 minute walk up the mountain road to the medieval village of Erice. Trapani is the main town and is about 15 minutes by car down the mountain. The mountain road (SP3) is steep with hairpin bends, so it is best to hire a small car like most of the locals. "My wife and I stayed in this property for a week in May 2019. The location was rural, quiet and had spectacular views over the surrounding mountains. "We really enjoyed our two day stay at this hotel. The receptionist (Ileana) was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic area close to the sea. The only small difficulty was the fact that the streets around the hotel have restricted access for cars, so we had to walk a few blocks with our luggage.
