"Located on harbour but no sound can be heard in hotel. Foot passenger's check in at hotel for ferries. Room large and clean even if a little basic. Soap in holder as now the normal. Food provided in with price. Cake and coffee mid afternoon. Evening meal was very nice and plenty to eat. We left before breakfast so they packed a bag and left it for us in a fridge. The star of the show was the receptionist. Perfect English and very helpful and informative "

"A charming country estate retreat. Host was very welcoming. The family room with maisonette 2nd bedroom and spacious bathroom was great. "We used this hotel just outside Trelleborg after the afternoon ferry from Rostock. They gave us a code to access our keys which worked well despite it being dark on arrival. Breakfast was in the golf clubhouse and they cooked us eggs and bacon to go with the cold buffet , all looking out to sea .All good but you may need an umbrella to go for breakfast. Courtesy kettle for tea in the room. I only saw staff at the golf club."
