"I love staying at this lodge. Its my go to accommodations when traveling to lake michigan in the winter. I love being off the beaten path, the esthetic of the lodge and the supper club/lodge. However, this stay i stood at the front desk for over 15 minutes while the front desk worker was on the phone helping somone else book a room. "We had an enjoyable stay. Our room was large we did have a small party going on next door to us and I had to call down to the lobby desk at just before 10:00 and he assured me that party was ending at 10:00 and it did. When the couple that was staying in that room returned at 2:30 a.m. they were loud and I just knocked on the wall and they quit right away they were connecting rooms. Perfect Winter Escape!

"Our stay at this Vrbo was absolutely incredible! The home was cozy, very clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The large windows offered breathtaking views of Lake Michigan, and even though the lake was partially frozen, it was still beautiful to see. The peaceful winter scenery made our stay even more special.The location was perfect—just a short drive to plenty of hiking trails, which were not only stunning but also very dog-friendly! Our pup loved exploring alongside us, and since it was the off-season, the trails weren’t crowded at all, making it even more enjoyable.The home was well-stocked with all the amenities we could ask for, including board games for family time and Wi-Fi if we needed it. It truly felt like a home away from home.This trip was exactly what our family of three (plus our dog!) needed. The quiet atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and easy access to nature made for a perfect escape from the daily routine.
