Worst hotel by far. Location is close to the airport however is it far from being called hotel. Staff and their manager are not trained to deal with customers at all. Shower in the room does not work. Room smells like pot shop. Try to avoid at all expenses. Price: very similar to actual hotels

We arrived around 4pm (coming from our moms funeral viewing), the outside was dirty - broken glass in the parking lot, broken windows in the lower windows. When checking in we asked where the pool was. It turns out the pool has been closed for 5 years!!!? We chose this hotel over the Super 8 because the Super 8 website clearly said their pool was closed for renovations. We thought a swim between viewings and the funeral would help. I commend Super 8 for being upfront about the reno’s. EST Hotel doesn’t mention anything about the pool being closed - especially closed for so many years. That is blatant false advertising!! The contract/ receipt I signed with the deposit showed a $38 difference. They said Expedia also gets their share. And if I booked through the hotel I would have gotten the cheaper price.. But the actual EST website was more expensive than Expedia!? Once signed, they wouldn’t let me look at it again, saying I can get the receipt from Expedia. I wanted to take a pic since the prices were different. Now we get to the room.. it was warm in there, they told us to wait 15 min for it to cool down but it never did start blowing cool air. The fridge, TV (cable) didn't work either. Front desk came to the room again to try and fix it without any luck. We must have gone to the front desk 5-6 times for help as they weren’t answering the phone. The poor guy was the only one there and kept telling us that he had to get back. Able to change rooms but mouldy shower!! Beware

The hotel washroom skin was a mess, had moldy spots. After booking few days before arrival, on getting to the hotel, we were told our room was going to be on the fourth floor, elevator only goes up to 3rd floor, she said so you will have to use the stairs. Mind you I have an infant and a toddler with stroller. I asked her why a floor without elevator reach, she said that was the last room they had. No help was offered to help with luggage or even stroller to go up the stair given the circumstances they put us in just out of compassion. I guess they’ve been paid so they don’t care. As if that was not enough, what angered me the most was that, I booked 2 queen sized bed room and we were given 2 double sized bedroom. I called the receptionist to inform she kept lying that it was Queen sized room, I was not given a refund for this. I have a Queen sized bed at home and I know what that looked like. So she literally gave us the crumbs that was left in their hotel. Their breakfast was disgusting to me, stall food. The only good thing was the yogurt. They give you practically prepacked frozen food, and the issue is that they don’t provide you with plate to put in the microwave to warm it up. I can go on and on.

Parking was sketchy. Window in the room was completely smashed and was duct taped. Had to wake up staff at front desk for service & he was not friendly. It was clear this is a newer facility and the amenities in the room were updated and nice, but the room did not look like the picture (picture showed little kitchenette with sink/stools- did not exist). Area is HORRIBLE. The lobby was pretty though, and again some of the things were nice in the room. But I would not recommend this hotel and I will not be visiting again.
